Why Do I Call My Studio Mudlark?

What is a Mudlark?

A mudlark is someone who scavenges in river mud to find valuable, interesting treasure or articles of worth.  Originally, the practice was historically done by poor Londoners but now it is a hobby for treasure hunters seeking historical artifacts at low tide.

Why i've named my studio mudlark?

While I don't, scavenge at river beds, I do joyfully "play in the mud" to create beautiful things that hopefully will have value to those who love them, buy them, and live with them.
